Meet the Stars…

Hannah – Aerial Star

Hannah started as a gymnast until turning her passion to circus skills. Her favourite acts to perform are anything aerial. Hannah has been performing and travelling all around England over the last 7 years.

This February half term for Cirquoise and Frosts, she will be performing the aerial Star. A very unique prop and the first in the UK.

Bugsy – Clown

Bugsy, AKA Robert, is 10th generation circus family –  He is Angel’s younger brother.

Comedy and performing runs in his blood. He is preparing new hilarious acts and laughter filled comedy. He is our residential Clown… be surprised for what he has in his sleeve this time round.

Not only will he be bringing his original comedy gags, he is also the person behind all the lighting – programming the lights for show is his passion.

Salvatore – Aerial Cloudswing

Salvatore was born into the circus in Italy. Growing up in Germany he began training from a very young age, and has performed in circus, theatre, and television all over the world.

He has honed his multiple circus skills over the years, and will showcase his death defying, on the edge of your seat Cloud Swing act this half term, back by popular demand with brand new choreography and routine.

Alex – Acrobat

Alex is an eclectic performer, he has mastered the craft of epic flips to high-skilled juggling.

Specialising in acrobatics, he has discovered a unique expertise for spinning dapo stars, cloths, skirts and even pizza dough… But this half term he is bringing his trampoline skills to Frosts and he wil keep you at the edge of your seat with comedy and breathtaking jumps.

Vlad – Hand Balancing

Vlad is second generation of traditional circus family, born just outside Kyiv, Ukraine. Vlad studied many disciplines in gymnastics and tumbling starting from the age of 5, but found his passion in hand balancing.

Vlad has taken his act to a variety of top venues in Europe and the United States. In Germany, he received a special prize at the 2012 newcomers show for best upcoming talent. One of the highlights of Vlad’s career is performing in the 2012 Olympics at the O2 arena.

Alem & Aben – Rollerskating Sensation

This incredible duo started rollerskating at a very young age, originally from Ethiopia and now performing all over the world. They are very happy to be performing this half-term at Cirquoise, here at Frosts Garden Centre.

Together in life and in art, they bring this incredible rollerskating act.

Rosie Matthews – Trapeze

Rosie is a thrilling, multi skilled performer from Scotland. Rosie started performing whilst studying music theatre and transitioned into circus a few years later when she joined the National Centre for Circus Arts in London specialising in dance trapeze.

In the exciting years since then she’s travelled and performed across Europe picking up a whole host of skills along the way including silks, hoop, and hair hanging. Rosie is thrilled to be performing her new trapeze act with Cirquoise.

Angel – The Ring Mistress

Born into the circus, Angel is a 10th generation circus performer, who has been travelling her whole life and getting an education whilst on the road.

She holds the performance together, making sure it’s all running smoothly and the entertainers are safe, while looking elegant.

With multiple business degrees, Angel is a big part of the less glamorous side of the circus.
